I appreciate that you've started broadly with dogs and then honed in more specifically to talk about 'racer dogs'— can you please tell me (and your readers) which type of racing dogs you are referring to?
Do you have a dog? I read your fact about medium and large dogs living up to 7-8 years and had a slight panic attack! I have a medium sized dog and she is almost 6— but her breed (both of them) live up til the age of 15, so I can breathe knowing that she will still be in my life for 9 more odd years.

I was talking about this racer dog vizsla. I had two dog but one of them ran away and the other dog died at the age of 13.
