north and south

Hello blog world. In today's blog it is about north and south.

I was born in the south island Invercargill it is a really small place but I still like it because it is easy to find shops and other fun things. In the south island it is cold. In Invercarcargill it barely snows.

See you next time i post

  1. Hello Vao!

Thankyou for completing another SLJ related activity!

Well done for including a review of Invercargill from Youtube. Can you tell me your favourite part about this video review? You're right! Invercargill is a really small town, which makes it easier to find local shops and other fun activities. Yes, the South Island is very cold, do you enjoy the cold?

I am pleased to know that you were born in Invercargill, I was also born in Invercargill! However, when I was four years old my family relocated to Gisborne on the east coast of the North Island. When did your family move to the North Island?

Thankyou Vao, I look forward to reading more of your blog posts!

    Cheers,

    Jordan.

    2. Hey, Vao

Thanks for telling me what your favourite part of the video was. The building behind him is beautiful, isn't it? Do you like architecture? I understand what you mean about being able to sleep better in cooler weather. It must take a lot of adapting for you to get used to the North Island weather.

Thanks for all of your great responses! Did you know that you can earn bonus points for leaving thoughtful comments on other students blog posts? There are a couple of other girls from Edmund Hillary School currently participating in the programme, like Roseena, Amanda and Ema. Feel free to head on over to their pages and comment on their posts— remember though that you need to write at least 3 sentences. Don't forget to be encouraging and offer them a suggestion to help improve their work.

      Cheers,

      Jordan
