  1. Talofa Vao!

Welcome to the Summer Learning Journey programme for 2018-2019! Well done— I'm so pleased to see you participating with us this summer as we delve in to matters of the environment both here in Aotearoa and across the rest of the world!

Thanks for providing us with heaps of informative facts about New Zealand— I'm impressed that you've added a video, too! How cool is it that 30% of our country is forest? I'd love to see this percentage go up, and it's highly likely that it might as the Government intends to plant 1 billion trees! You can read more about that here, if you like: https://www.mpi.govt.nz/funding-and-programmes/forestry/planting-one-billion-trees/

Well done again, and I look forward to reading more of your posts! You're the first student from EHS to be blogging with us this summer so do keep it up!

    Cheers

    2. Talofa Vao,

You're very welcome. Did you know that you can earn 2 bonus points each time you leave a thoughtful comment? This includes leaving a thoughtful comment to me on your own blog post. The response needs to be a couple of sentences long in order to earn the points.
Did you have a chance to read about the 1 billion trees?

      Cheers
